Francisco Caraballo
In 2001 Francisco signed as a non-drafted free agent, out of Venezuela, with the Houston Astros. Caraballo remained with the Astros through 2007. In 2008 he played in the Can-am Independent League before moving to Japan in 2009 where he played professional baseball until 2018. During his time in Japan Francisco also acted as a hitting coach in the independent league in Japan.
Over the course of his baseball career Caraballo set records in various departments and leagues. He led the league in homeruns in eight different years. In 2002, 2009, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2018 he was the league leader in RBI’s. In 2009 Francisco set the RBI record in the Island League with 65 and in 2014 he set the record in the Baseball Challenge League with 87 RBI’s. In 2002 and 2014 he led the league in batting average. In 2014 Caraballo also won the Triple Crown. Francisco also holds the all-time homerun record in the Japanese Independent League with 151 and was the MVP of the Japanese Baseball League five times including three consecutive years from 2016 through 2018.
John Bryant
John Bryant is the Strength and Conditioning Coach for TNXL. Bryant received his Minor in Coaching from the University of Central Florida. John brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge in the areas of sports, nutrition, strength training and speed/agility training
Bryant played football for the University of Central Florida and earned multiple awards during that time including the Captains Award, The Linebacker Award, Defensive MVP, and Athlete of the Year. In 1999 Bryant was signed by the San Diego Chargers.
Since leaving the NFL, John has been actively involved in coaching and training youths in both baseball and football, as well as speed and conditioning.
Achim Deon Johnson
Achim Deon Johnson is a Strength and Conditioning Coach for TNXL. He is a certified personal trainer with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida in addition to his CSCS. Achim is also currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine. Deon Johnson has a passion for learning about the human body and for helping people reach their fitness and athletic goals.
Argenis Diaz
Argenis Diaz is the Player Development Coach for TNXL. Diaz is a former Major League Baseball player with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
A day in the life of a TNXL athlete consists of four and a half hours of position specific training. Each day is carefully planned to ensure maximum opportunity for growth and learning in all aspects of the game, from appropriate warm-up and stretching, to simulated game situations.  Strength and conditioning, which is a major part of every athlete’s daily routine, with each workout designed to fit the specific needs of the individual. When it comes to speed and endurance we are blessed to have one of the best in the business,  We test our athletes six times per year to track progress in 16 specific categories. The results are utilized to design the athlete’s training plan going forward. TNXL players train Monday through Thursday, with Friday being an optional day for individual work.
